A team representing Maliyadeva College participated in the Codemize'24 Information and Communication Technology competition on the 25th of July and obtained 1st place in the selection round. The final competition was held on the BCI Campus premises on the 26th of July. A team of 10 students representing Maliyadeva College, including:

• H.M.N.D. Samarawickrama (Grade 11A)
• W.M.T.D.Warnasooriya (Grade 11A)
• A.M.T.L. Karunarathna (Grade 12M4)
• W.M.V.W. Wijesundara (Grade 10B)

The team managed to outscore eight other schools who participated in the final round and secured the grand prize for Maliyadeva College.
